Denny has been the fleet manager for a fleet of over 400 vehicles for 25 years. He has been in charge of all of the purchasing, maintenance, and disposal of the fleet. The fleet has been managed in two shops, with only 9 mechanics. The processes developed within the organization and the shop equipment provided has allowed a maximum of efficiency from the work force. The annual state school bus inspection scores were among the best in the state.
Denny has been a leader in the industry with his experience and ambition. He has been involved in the legislative portion of school bus in Minnesota with his experience and influence for many years.
Denny worked with his first consulting job over 25 years ago as he successfully helped two consolidating districts combine their district shops into one program. He introduced the processes for them to make decisions and resolve conflicts with everyone involved. Since that time he has been invited to numerous shops throughout the country to increase efficiency and help with issues that commonly plague a shop operation. Denny carries the philosophe, “I can easily save multiple times the cost of the consultation within the first year alone.” He will visit your facility for from one to three days (for a single shop operation) and make a timely recommendation both in person if requested, and with a written report.
